A Birmingham headquartered engineering firm is celebrating its second award for Best Companies 1* accreditation recognising the outstanding levels of employee engagement.

The adi Group is celebrating its second consecutive award for being one of the best companies to work for.

Situated at headquarters in Kings Norton, they have 12 regional sites across the UK and Ireland. They were awarded its high Best Companies Index score from the Best Companies survey.

The Sunday Times Best Company programme looks at a company’s approach to employee wellbeing, leadership, personal growth, management, community engagement, teamwork, fair deals and the business as a whole, using staff feedback to gain insights.

The Group, which has a workforce of over 600 employees, saw increased response rates with its leadership, responsible business initiatives and employee benefits each scoring highly.

Inspired by the same principles that serve Formula 1, Adi counts many of the world’s best loved brands among its loyal clients.

A ‘right first time’ culture ensures a team of over 600 creates and delivers the turnkey solutions that engineer the outcomes – and outputs – clients demand.

Alan Lusty, Chief Executive Officer said: “We are extremely proud to have achieved a Best Companies Accreditation for the second year running.

“We take great care to continuously improve all areas of our business for our employees and to see our overall scores improve in the core focus areas we targeted last year shows that we are moving in the right direction.”

They will continue to strive for innovative ways to make their processes and infrastructure and will be reviewing the scores in each area to determine the focal points for 2019.

Jonathan Austin, CEO & Founder of Best Companies added: “I would like to congratulate adi Group on its achievement. Best Companies have been producing the Accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace.

“Organisations like the adi Group have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a best company to work for.”

The Group joined companies across the UK for #BestCompaniesDay on Friday 1st March to celebrate its employee engagement accolade.
