West Mercia Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman sadly lost her life in a collision close to Lydiate Ash last night (Friday 30th November).
The accident happened at around 8pm on the A38 Birmingham Road between the junction 4 of the M5 motorway and Rubery.
A silver BMW X5 had collided with a tree and the female driver sadly died at the scene.
Both carriageways were closed into the early hours while emergency services and investigators were at the scene. The road was reopened southbound at around 1am and fully reopened by around 6pm.
