Tuesday 9th October: Reuben Hylton has been arrested and is now in police custody. Thanks to all who shared the appeal and thanks to West Midlands Police.
West Midlands Police have issued an urgent appeal to locate a man they believe to be a danger to a number of women he has previously subjected to domestic violence, as well as to the wider public.
Reuben Hylton, 27, is wanted in relation to three assaults against two former partners, as well as harassing and threatening to kill another woman and criminal damage to their properties. He is also wanted for breaching court restraining orders designed to protect women he’s alleged to have abused.
Currently of no fixed address, Hylton has links to Birmingham, particularly Druids Heath.
Officers have not managed to locate Hylton, despite executing warrants at several addresses. and are urging anyone with information on his whereabouts to get in touch.
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Munro, said: “Hylton is wanted over a series of nasty attacks against women, intimidation and attacks on their property.
“Our suspicion is that he is a danger to women and the wider public and I would urge anyone who has seen him or has information that could help us locate him to get in touch immediately.”
Anyone who sees Hylton is advised not to approach him, but to call police on 999.
