Sainsbury’s Northfield supports ‘Autism Hour’

Sainsbury’s Northfield will be supporting and showing their commitment to local customers who are affected by Autism by taking part in this years ‘Autism Hour’.

The National Autistic Society’s ‘Autism Hour’, is an initiative that encourages shops and businesses to make simple changes for 60 minutes that will lead to a more autism-friendly shopping experience.

Last year over 5,000 retailers took part in the world’s first mass participation Autism Hour. We’re confident even more retailers will take part this year, making adjustments to make shopping easier for autistic people and their families.

During the following times, autistic shoppers will be able to have a quieter and calmer experience:

• Monday 8th October – 9am till 10am
• Wednesday 10th October – 4pm till 5pm
• Friday 12th October – 7pm till 8pm

Representatives from Autism West Midlands will be in store to provide more information about autism and autism support. If you need more information about what the store is doing, call Debee on 0121 476 9133
