City centre streets have been cordoned off as police investigate a disorder which has seen three people being taken to hospital with stab injuries this afternoon (Tuesday 2nd October).

West Midlands Police were called just before 5.45pm to reports of disorder on High Street in Birmingham city centre.

Three people are thought to have been stabbed and, at this very early stage, the severity of their injuries is not yet clear.

A large police cordon is in place around High Street and Dale End.

West Midlands police officers are looking at CCTV images.
