Rider flees scene after motorbike smashes into parked cars

A motorcyclist managed to run from the scene after his bike smashed into parked cars in Frankley last night (Monday 30th July).
The accident happened at around 9.45pm. Eyewitnesses describe the motorbike travelling at speed before crashing into the parked vehicles, with the rider and passenger being thrown into the air before landing on a stationary car.
Both then managed to get up and flee the scene on foot.
Frogmill Road was closed between Holly Hill Road and Egghill Lane for some time.
Three cars were damaged in the collision – it is believed two are write-offs.
West Midlands Police have confirmed they are investigating the accident.
