Local charity CASBA are delighted to announce that they will be holding their first ever carers support group on 24th July 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Northfield Fire Station.

The charity, who provide advocacy services for people with Learning Disabilities, are running this as part of their Mutual Carers project funded by Lloyds Bank Foundation. This project supports carers, often who are getting older and more frail, who are concerned for the future of the person they care for who has a Learning Disability.

The session aims for you to meet other carers and share your own experiences of being a carer. There will be a focus on self-care, identifying what looking after yourself means to both you and your cared for and how you can apply self care.

This is also an opportunity for you to tell us what you want from CASBA and have your say about future meetings/ sessions we put on, including how often we hold them and the location.

To reserve a place at this session please call Carly or Debbie on 0121 475 0777.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available
