West Midlands Police are investigating after two collisions in the Shenley area early this morning (Sunday 3rd June) left three men injured, one seriously.

The first collision happened at around 3.15am when a car collided with a parked car in Rickyard Close, off Cranesbill Road, coming to rest in a front garden.

A 57 year old man was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Rickyard Close remains closed as investors examine the scene to determine what happened.

Anyone with any information on this accident is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101 quoting log number 514 of 3rd June.

A second collision happened at around 5am at the junction of Black Haynes Road and Shenley Lane when a BMW collided with a tree.

Two man, aged 38 and 43, were taken to hospital where their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
