West Midlands Police are wanting to trace the driver of a car that was involved in a hit and run collision involving a 14-year-old boy on Wednesday (6th June) in Northfield.
The teen was riding a ‘micro scooter’ across Norrington Road when a vehicle hit him and failed to stop. West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived at the scene and alerted Police at 7.30pm.
The young boy was taken to hospital where he was treated for his injuries, fortunately nothing was broken and the teenager returned home later that evening.
A witness described the car as ‘a black Vauxhall Corsa being driven by a white male with a beard and wearing a hoodie’ – the investigations continue to find the car and driver involved.
