*SON NOW FOUND!* | Police appeal to identify woman found wandering in Northfield


UPDATE: Maureen’s son has been found and is now with her. Well done to West Midlands Police and all who shared their appeal!

We need your help to find the friends or relatives of a woman found wandering in Northfield, Birmingham.

The woman, who says her name is Maureen, was found very confused on Dimsdale Road shortly before 3.30pm on Saturday (19 May).

She is described as white, in her 70s and has long grey hair and brown eyes. When found the woman was wearing a beige top. She has a silver watch on her left wrist and a silver ring on the small finger of her left hand.

Officers have spoken to residents in the street where she was found and checked local care homes.

The woman is currently in hospital undergoing tests while police efforts to identify Maureen continue.

Anyone who recognises Maureen should call police immediately on 101 quoting reference number 1566 of 19 May 2018.
