Officers from West Mercia Police are seeking information following a burglary at a home close to Waseley Hills Country Park, which saw a calf and sheep “brutally slaughtered”.

The burglary happened in Redhill Lane, off Holywell Lane, in Rubery between 9pm on Sunday 11th February and 8am on Tuesday 13th February.

A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: “The offender or offenders forced entry to the home, and brutally slaughtered a young calf and sheep, potentially to harvest the meat.”
