From Longbridge Life:

Longbridge residents, businesses and visitors are being invited to get into the festive spirit when the Christmas Market returns on the Friday 8th and Saturday 9th December.

The market, which will take place in Longbridge Town Centre between 9am-5pm, is being organised by the Friends of Longbridge Open Spaces initiative (FLOS), a pilot community project supported by regeneration specialist St. Modwen.

Visitors will be able to buy gifts from over 30 stalls, including candles, crafts and creative gift wrapping, whilst enjoying street food, family entertainment and carols from local choir Northfield Notes Community Choir and God’s Heart for Longbridge.

Creating festive cheer, Santa’s Grotto will also be coming to the town centre, where children can meet Santa and pick up a gift.

Andrea Clarke, Property Manager at St. Modwen, said: “We’re really excited to welcome the Christmas Market back to Longbridge.

“With Christmas well and truly on its way, it’s the perfect opportunity for people to get into the festive spirit.

“Brought together by the FLOS pilot project, the Christmas Market is a great example of local community events in Longbridge, and one we very much hope will be carried on in years to come by the local community on behalf of all who live, work and visit the area.”
