West Midlands Police are investigating after a car smashed in to the front of a Frankley home yesterday evening (Tuesday 21st November).

The incident happened at just after 8.30pm in Frogmill Road, close to the junction with Holly Hill Road.

Luckily, residents were unharmed as the car mounted the pavement and onto their driveway, hitting their car and house.

A police spokeswoman confirmed that it was reported to the police that that four teenagers got out of the car and ran off.

Fire crews attended to make the area safe.

A local resident said that last night was the fourth time that there had been a collision into homes or vehicles on drives in the row of homes, which are part of the Balaam Wood development.
