The Queen Alexandra College (QAC) in Quinton that supports people with disabilities, received a cheque for £17430 from the Morrisons Foundation yesterday (9th November) at the Rubery store.
The Morrisons Foundation slogan says ‘Making a difference to peoples lives’ and this will certainly will be the case for students of in locally based college.
The cheque was presented to Assistant Principal, Jane Morel (fl), IT student and member of music club, Kaseem Khan (b) – by Morrisons Rubery store manager Mike Jeavons (fr) with Jane Williams, Community Champion (r) and Alison Steventon, Home & Leisure (l).
The magnificent amount of £17430 from foundation will be put to great use, Fundraising and Grants Manager, Sarah Caldwell said: “It will enable the college to provide a music programme including a music club, workshops and individual support for the next 2 years.
