The family of a 5 year old boy who died as a result of a collision in Frankley Green last weekend have paid tribute to their “beloved” boy.

Harvey Bannister was one of two people who died following the tragic accident in Ravenhayes Lane on Saturday 4th November when a grey Kia Ceed and a white Peugeot Expert collided close to Frankley services.

A family statement issued through West Mercia Police says:”We are devastated at the sudden death of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew and cousin, Harvey. We were all so proud of him and he will be desperately missed both by us and his friends.”

Harvey’s family wish to be left alone to grieve and will be making no further comment.

A 41 year old man from the Peugeot – believed to be a taxi driver – also died a short time later. Two people in the Kia were also injured and required hospital treatment. A 9 week old baby travelling with them was unharmed.

Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting reference 300s of 4 November 2017.
