West Midlands Police seek information after a has his bike stolen one from him whilst at a local park.
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Police said: “We received a report at around 6.45 pm on 22 October, to say that a 15 year old boy had been pushed from his bike by a man who threatened him with a small knife and rode off on the bike.”
The attack on the teenager took place in the recreation ground in West Heath Park, on Slingfield Road near the allotments.
Thankfully the boy suffered no physical injuries during the attack.
Mother of the victim said: “I’m just glad he’s ok, you can replace a bike.”
The bike was an orange and yellow Coyote mountain bike with black wheels. The man was described as white, wearing a black hoodie with grey joggers. The bike was later seen with a man in a green jacket and beanie hat.
No arrests have been made and police enquiries are on-going.
