Kings Norton Sixth Form students once again celebrated another year of success in today’s A Level results, representing excellent academic and personal achievements for students at the school.

Following record breaking results last year, 2017 saw students exceed national pass rates and surpass their targets to attain 17.33% of A Level grades at A*-A. Particularly pleasing were the successes in English, which saw students across the board exceeding national average by more than half a grade.

The staff and Governors would like to congratulate each and every one of our students on their individual successes. We are very proud of their achievements which are a reflection of the hard work which has been put in by the students along with the care and support offered by their teachers and staff within KNGS.

Once again the results this year see a bumper year for students successfully gaining university places along with high level apprenticeships and vocational choice.

And how do our students feel?

“I am so happy that I got into my first choice university and that I got an A in English, which is what I want to study!” Eve

“I can’t believe the results I have achieved, it just shows that with hard work you really can achieve anything! Thanks you for all the support” Katie

“I am actually ecstatic. I never thought I’d achieve the grades I have wanted all along. Thanks to everyone’s amazing help” Natalie

Ms Fox Headteacher: “Congratulations once again to all our students on their examination results. As is the ethos at Kings Norton Sixth Form, they have worked incredibly hard to gain success in their A Levels. I would like to wish them continued success and happiness for their futures. The sheer hard work of staff and students together with exceptional relationships and support are at the very heart of our very successful Sixth Form. Well done and a big thank you to everybody!”
