Northfield Art’s Forum (NAF) is a monthly arts café that takes place on the last Thursday of every month both at Weoley Castle and Northfield.
They feature music, art, open mic nights and a lovely three course meal made from surplus food. It really is the place to be as everyone is so friendly.
Tonight’s NAF CAF (29th June 2017) entertainment consisted of Nord Feld Stefn, an unusual group of performers, open mic performances by Roy and Matt followed by Olly and the gang!
There was also an amazing dressing up corner with clothes that had been up-cycled in the
workshop that is held on a Wednesday afternoon at Prices Square, not to mention the children’s play area, board games and much more.
The food, which is made from food that supermarkets have surplus to requirements and are about to throw out, is absolutely delicious.
You can have a 3 course meal, tonight’s menu was carrot and coriander soup to start followed by either garlic and chilli stir fry, salmon and veg stir fry with rice or chicken and ham pie with mash. Dessert was either trifle or yogurt with granola.
The next NAF CAF is on Thursday 27th July 2017…….why don’t you come along and join in the fun!
