Car thieves targeted a woman as she parked up outside her Selly Oak home on Friday afternoon (5th May), making off with her keys and car.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm – as the woman parked her VW Golf outside her St Denis Road home, a white Audi A3 pulled in behind her. Two masked men approached her as she was getting out of her vehicle, grabbing her keys and jumping in her car.

The suspects made off in the stolen metallic blue VW, closely followed by the Audi that they are believed to have arrived in.

The woman was shaken but thankfully not injured.

  1. This happened to me a few weeks back outside my house on lodge hill road. They didn’t pull up in a car they were walking down the street gang of 3 black youths with their faces covered. I don’t think they were expecting a 6’2″ burly bald man to get out of the car tho. Told em to do one which they eventually did but not after smashing 2 of the car windows in.
