West Midlands Police release CCTV images in an attempt to identify two men they suspect attacked a man at an ATM machine in Bartley Green on the 4th April.

The incident happened outside the One-Stop on Woodgate Lane at around 9pm when a 28-year-old victim went to withdraw cash from the machine.

It’s believed the two suspects spoke with the man regarding the ATM being out of service, before following him to Woodgate services further down the road.

Whilst the 28-year-old was in the process of making a withdrawal, he was violently struck from behind, causing him to hit his head and fall to the floor.

As he was on the floor, the suspects kicked and punched him and demanded his card and pin number.

The victim refused to fulfil their demands which lead them to run off.
