Northfield children are in for a treat during the school holidays, as the town’s shopping centre is gearing up for a day of family fun with special Easter-themed activities.
On Wednesday, 12 April, the town’s children are invited to enjoy free fun at Northfield Shopping Centre between 11am and 4pm. Throughout the day, visitors will have a hopping good time with craft workshops, a visit from the bouncing Easter Bunny and the chance to win a family ticket to Bournville-based Cadbury World.
Northfield Shopping Centre manager, Adam Meade, said he is looking forward to welcoming families to the centre during the half-term break. “Children’s activities that we host at the centre during weekends and school holidays are always extremely popular, so we thought this was the perfect way to celebrate Easter,” he said.
“On the 12th, youngsters will be able to join the Easter Bunny at Northfield to make a special chocolate egg basket to take home for their Easter eggs,” Adam added.
“Cadbury World is just two miles away from the centre, so we thought this would be a fantastic competition to tie in with our Easter event,” he said. “We will be giving one lucky family the chance to win a ticket to the attraction, where they will be able to enjoy a 4D chocolate adventure, find out how to make chocolate and visit the world’s biggest Cadbury’s shop.
“We hope everyone enjoys meeting Northfield’s skipping bunny on Wednesday and we look forward to announcing the winner of our Cadbury World ticket.”
