West Midlands Police are investigating reports that a teenage boy was injured when two men tried to steal his mobile phone and cash in Northfield on Wednesday (15th March).
The 14 year old was chased by two men – thought to be in their late teens – into Kingshurst Road some time between 6.15 and 6.45pm.
The men demanded the lad’s cash and mobile phone. When he resisted, he was pushed to the ground and assaulted, leaving him with facial injuries.
The men made off empty handed.
