Do you recognise this man? West Midlands Police are asking members of the public to help identify him, in relation to crimes where stolen bank details were used to purchase a mobile phone, which was later stolen from a delivery driver who was assaulted.
A man from the Ley Hill area of Northfield was tricked into giving his bank details over to what he believed was an online recruitment agent.
Those bank details were used to order a mobile phone which was to be delivered to the victim’s Bartley Crescent home on Friday 3rd March.
The suspect tracked the delivery online and at around 2.30pm punched a DPD driver in the face and stole the phone. The driver needed stitches and suffered a broken collar bone.
The man in the image is described as Asian, tall and athletic with short black hair and a stubbly face.
