Children are in for a thrilling half-term, as Northfield Shopping Centre is set to host a free, Halloween-themed kids’ club.

On Saturday, 29 October, children of all ages are being invited to solve Northfield’s ‘Howling Halloween’ mystery. Between 11am and 4pm, youngsters will enjoy frightfully fun activities including cookie decorating and face painting.

Northfield’s mini-detectives will also be able to take part in the Sherlock Holmes Trail, where they will be on the hunt for treats and tricks around the shopping centre to win fun prizes.

Northfield Shopping Centre manager, Adam Meade, said he is looking forward to welcoming families to the centre over the half-term holidays. “After ‘The World’s Smallest Haunted House’ was such a huge success with shoppers last year, we thought it was an excellent idea to host another spooky event to get everyone into the spirit of Halloween,” he said.

“Children will be able to enjoy being turned into a little monster for the day with our scary face paints as well as decorate their very own creepy cookie to take home,” Adam added.

“We hope everybody has a great ‘Howling Halloween’ solving the Sherlock Holmes Trail at Northfield Shopping Centre.”
