School Business Manager

Colmers Farm Primary School are looking to appoint a knowledgeable and enthusiastic School Business Manager for this recently amalgamated primary school. The successful applicant will be a member of SLT and provide full support to the Head Teacher to ensure the effective leadership, management and administration of the school with specific responsibility for facilities, Health and Safety, the MIS and ICT infrastructure, Risk Management, Office Management, Financial Management and the management of non-class based school support staff.

Experience as a School Business Manager is desirable but not essential, however, the successful candidate should hold the Certificate of School Business Management (CSBM). We are looking for someone with experience of managing and monitoring budgets and reporting on this, a basic knowledge of employment law, experience in managing premises related issues, and experience of leading a team. Experience of SIMS would be an advantage, but not essential as training can be provided.

The post is full-time, 36.5 hours per week, term time only working will be considered.
