Firefighter Rich aka Joeytrib administered oxygen therapy.

The crew from Ward End were en route to their home station from a training venue in Longbridge, when the call came in to assist and attend the kitchen fire with Northfield fire service.

The flat was vacant of people at the time of the fire, but not of cats. Both cats (Chaz and Felicity) were rescued by the firefighters who administered oxygen and are expected to make a full recovery. They are currently being monitored overnight at the RSPCA.

Great job firefighters and RSPCA Birmingham :-) #PositiveB31
