UPDATE 20/4/16 The application has been TEMPORARILY withdrawn and new plans will be presented soon.

John Liggins, Director of Ziran Land Ltd., comments: “The application has been withdrawn temporarily whilst we continue to discuss the scheme with the local authority, allowing us to make further improvements. We will be resubmitting in the near future and very much look forward to providing the community with the very best development possible.”

An application to build a drive thru coffee shop on the Northfield relief road has been [temporarily] withdrawn.

The application was submitted to Birmingham City Council in February for a Starbucks on the A38 Sir Herbert Austin Way between Vineyard Road and Sainsbury’s petrol station.

Many residents and community stakeholders were concerned about the close proximity to Bellfield schools and nursery and the application has now been withdrawn.

If we are able to obtain a statement from developers, we will update.
