Youngsters from a local dance school enjoyed a dream trip to Disneyland Paris where they got to perform.
43 dancers from the Longbridge based Victoria’s School of Dance and Performing Arts spent a week at Disneyland where they got to enjoy the resort, take part in Disney led workshops, perform and even take part in a parade.
Parents, local businesses, schools and community groups helped fundraise for the trip and many fundraising events were supported by the local community.
Gemma, mum of one of the dancers, said: “It was an amazing experience and the dancers did us proud. A big thank you to Tony Geraghty butchers and many local business, schools, parents and community groups for helping them fundraise to help them fulfill their dreams.”
She also thanked dance school leader Victoria Lightfoot and the volunteers who helped with the trip.
Well done, all!
