Longwill School for the Deaf, Northfield have been selected as a possible beneficiary of Tesco’s Bags of Help scheme, where money collected from the 5p carrier bag charge is donated to local worthy causes. 

Here’s how you can help!

Bags of Help is an exciting new local grant scheme organised by Tesco.  The money raised from the government’s 5p bag charge is being used to fund local projects.

Longwill Primary School for Deaf Children in Northfield, B31 has been successfully shortlisted to the final three for this area. We will receive between £8,000 – £12,000 for our Sensory Playground Project.

For every transaction made at a Tesco store a token will be given to vote for a project.  Voting is up until 6th March.

Please use your tokens to vote for Longwill so the children can have bright new playground equipment.  We will be setting up Facebook and Twitter Accounts to show the progress of the project.The children are so excited.  and are making a video using Sign Language along with a voiceover which we will share.
