[Update 8.25pm] Fusion could be back?!

We’ve had a short statement from Mike Owen, representing Fusion, who suggests this may be a temporary move: “As Liverpool is UNESCO City of Music there was an obvious synergy for 2016 but Fusion is looking forward to returning to Birmingham in the future.”

The dates for this year’s Fusion Festival have been announced – and it won’t be returning to Cofton Park.

The Longbridge venue has hosted the pop festival for the last three years but, this year, the September event will move to Liverpool, UNESCO City of Music.

More to follow…

  2. The one opportunity to bring the community together and its taken from us. Whoever has taken this decision then please remember all the heartbroken kids who look forward to this every year. Norhtfied has had its fair share of problems and this was a opportunity for the area to come together so i plead to the organisers to reconsider for next year.

  3. We have a beautiful venue in Cofton Park and there used to be so many events going on. I remember the hot air balloon festival, which was magnificent, amongst other things. There are great transport links to get there as well, so it would be nice to see the park utilised for other events, as well as a return of Fusion hopefully.
