IMG_5710-0.jpgA local woman was left shaken after an attempted robbery in Longbridge yesterday morning (Wednesday 6th January).

The incident happened just after 11.30am on Edenhurst Road.

A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “the victim felt something tugging at her bag, she turned to see the offender try and pull the bag but she held onto it and started screaming. The offender ran off in the direction of Sunbury Road.”

A 25 year old man was arrested on suspicion of attempt robbery later the same day. He has been bailed while police make further enquiries.
