Rednal Hill Infant School have won the Link2ICT Paul Shoesmith Award for Innovation in Technology 2015.
The award, which recognisises creative use of ICT, highlights “forward thinking teachers and […] schools that use original and effective teaching and learning methods.”
The Link2ICT website says: “Rednal Hill Infant School were selected because of their strategic approach to the use of ICT, driven by the headteacher. Informed decisions have been made around the adoption and deployment of technology to aid both teaching and learning, as well as taking a measured risk when adopting new technologies.
“The school also demonstrated a commitment to making sure things work when issues arise, an ethos of whole staff engagement and a determination to ensure their pupils are prepared for a world as yet unknown.”
