West Midlands Police dealt with a disorder on the A38 Bristol Road South close to Longbridge Island this afternoon (June 15th).
Police were called to reports of a disorder just before 2pm.
A police spokesman said: “Two local men, aged 29 and 38, were arrested for affray after damage was caused to a car and two people were injured. A man was taken to hospital with a leg injury and a woman suffered a minor head injury.
“The road was closed temporarily to ensure public safety while officers dealt with the incident.”
Police were called back to the scene of the original incident at around 3pm to reports of further criminal damage.
The spokeswoman said that: “officers are continuing to take witness details and patrol the area to prevent any further disorder.”
She added: “The incident is believed to be isolated and domestic related.”
