Bigger, brighter and even more fun packed than ever before!

Northfield Culture Mash is now entering its fourth year and this year there will be events running throughout the whole month of July, kicking off with the Northfield Carnival on the 4th of July.

There are events every weekend on prices square and a range of activities throughout the week of the 22nd 26th of July.

Further to public demand and to bring even more free activities to the people of Northfield the ever popular beach will now be held on Victoria Common, providing more places to relax, picnic, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

New additions for this year will include an Arts Village, Eco Village, and the Rainbow Tent which will host an array of drama, poetry, theatre and dance. Daily drumming workshops will also be held throughout the day.

As usual we will have a wide range of music throughout the five days ranging from reggae, to soul, blues, samba, traditional ceilidh, Dhol drummers and more…

We will also be holding cooking demonstrations, food tasting and have a go sample sessions, promoting fresh, healthy, tasty food, hosted by the yum tum club.

Behind the scenes at the Community Partnership we are working hard to bring you the best Culture Mash ever! Although these events are free* we would like to encourage people to bring a tin of food to the event which will help support our food bank and help those in need. (Collection points will be available around the site).

So, why not spend a day at the beach, bring a picnic, take part in one or two of our fantastic workshops, shake your stuff along to the live music on offer, catch a play or watch Punch and Judy on prices square.

Northfield is a great place to visit, shop and enjoy and we hope to see you at one of the events detailed in this booklet.
