From West Midlands Police:
Detectives investigating a shooting that happened in Northfield last week are appealing for help to track down two people who may have witnessed what happened.
The two men, who are being treated as significant witnesses, are believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident. They are described as white and were both wearing tracksuits.
Officers were called to Lockwood Road just before 1.30am on Saturday April 25 after a house window was smashed and around an hour later a man arrived at hospital with an injury to his face.
The injured man, aged 18, remains in hospital in a stable condition.
Detective Inspector Paul Joyce, from Force CID, said: “A major investigation is on-going to track down the people responsible for this crime.
“In particular we want to speak to two men who we believe may have vital information about what happened that night.
“We also want to hear from anyone who saw any cars being driven erratically in the area during the early hours of Saturday morning.
“If you saw anything or have any information about what happened, please come forward and contact us, in confidence, on 101.”
Anyone with information about what happened, or anyone who witnessed the disorder, should contact DS Adam Hicklin from Force CID on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
