IMG_1008.PNGWest Mercia Police have issued a warning and an appeal for information after potentially dangerous medication was stolen from a vehicle in Rednal. 

It is thought that the vehicle was broken in to in Rednal Hill Lane between midnight and 8.45am today (Monday 23rd March). Fentanyl patches and a bottle of Oramorph were taken.

Police have warned the public that these medications could be dangerous if taken by an individual who has not been prescribed them.

Anyone who finds the medication is urged to hand it in at any police station.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call West Mercia Police on 101 quoting incident 96S of Monday 23rd March. Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.


  1. The fuss about medication is if someone else takes it, it could kill them or even try to sell it to kids. The question should be Why was the medication in the car in the first place? Considering it is “potentially dangerous “. More care should have been taken by the person who had the perscription in the first place.
