West Mercia Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a crash last week in Lickey which left two men seriously injured and another dead.

The man who died at the scene has been named in the Bromsgrove Standard as 30 year old Andrew Harding from Kings Norton.

Emergency services were called to Rose Hill just after midnight on Thursday 8th January after the car left the road and crashed into trees, setting on fire.

The driver, a man in his 20s and the rear seat passenger, a man in his 30s, both sustained serious injuries.

Police investigating the cause of the accident are keen to speak to witnesses, including a cyclist who it is believed was travelling down Rose Hill shortly before the accident – the opposite direction to the vehicle involved.

Police are also keen to trace a second witness, who was travelling in a car in the same direction but two cars ahead of the vehicle involved.

Anyone with any information is urged to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 1 of 8th January
