Socks and Chocs is collecting pairs of socks and bars of chocolates to bring a bit of warmth and comfort to the homeless in Birmingham.

Started by Birmingham’s “Busking Bobby” PC Ian Northcott in 2010 with just donations from his family and friends, the organisation is hoping to provide socks and chocs for 10,000 people in need across the country this year.

Donations can be made locally at:
Northfield Baptist Church, 789 Bristol Road South, Northfield, B31 2NQ
South Birmingham Young Homeless Project , The Depot, Belton Grove, Rubery, B45 9PD
Northfield Community Partnership, 693 Bristol Road South, Northfield, B31 2JT

Donations of warm winter coats and sleeping bags would also be very welcome.

All donations will be distributed to the various homeless shelters across Birmingham.

The little things mean a lot…. please donate locally if you can!
