0flickrianbrittonA 34 year old man needed hospital treatment after he was hit in the face with a mini scooter during an altercation with a group of teenage boys outside a Rubery takeaway on Wednesday night.

The incident happened at around 10.30pm outside Chaps takeaway in New Road.

The man got into an altercation with a group of teenagers who were behaving antisocially outside the takeaway after finishing their meal inside.

Police said that during the incident, the 34 year old from Birmingham was hit with a mini scooter, requiring treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for a “major injury to his face”.

West Mercia Police are appealing for information to find the four boys. The four, in their early teens, made off on their scooters.

Officers are urging any witnesses to get in touch, including any parents whose similar aged children may have been out at that time.

    rubery at the weekend is like a boy racers strip , needs to be policed more !!!
