Birmingham South’s latest Prince’s Trust Team Programme ended on the 18th July 2014. The next team programme is due to start on the 15th September 2014.
They are now in a position to begin the recruitment process for new candidates. If you are currently dealing with or know of anyone that meets the criteria and would benefit from going on the programme then please send your nomination in via the link. The course is full time Monday to Friday 09:00 till 16:30 for 12 weeks and involves the students going away for one week on a residential.
Nominations must meet the below criteria
Be 16-25 years old.
Are not in employment (Over 16 hours week), not in education, training or apprenticeship.
Are looking for an opportunity to improve on skills relating to employment and are willing to commit to a full time course.
What’s in it for the participants ?
Amongst other things you will:
During the 12 week programme, Team members:
Spend a week away at a residential activity centre
Undertake a project based in the local community
Complete a work placement
Participate in a team challenge, involving caring for others
Stage a team presentation, during which they recount their experiences
