Police are seeking witnesses after a staff member was attacked by two robbers at a restaurant in Rubery, late on Sunday night.

The woman was locking up at Frankie and Benny’s on Great Park after Sunday evening’s opening, when two masked men entered the premises, just after midnight (Monday 21st July).

She was punched and threatened with a craft knife before the thieves made off with till takings.

The offenders also stole the woman’s car, a black Vauxhall Astra reg FN07 NZT, to make their escape from the scene.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who saw the car leaving Great Park or has seen the vehicle since.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Sergeant Greg Evans at West Midlands Police CID on 101. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
