RSPCA Birmingham’s Animal Centre and Hospital have welcomed in Google’s Street View cameras and are now available to tour virtually via Google Maps, the first ever animal hospital in the world which has opened its virtual doors in such a way.

Animal lovers, individuals, interested parties etc, now have the opportunity to take a virtually tour of the centre. The corridors, treatment rooms and rehoming sections are all available to view at the new RSPCA facility from the comfort of your own homes at your own convenience.

Hospital director Rebecca Willby said she hoped it would result in more people visiting the facility in person.

She said: “For the first time people can have a fascinating fly on the wall experience of the facilities and activities at the new RSPCA welfare facility at Frankley.

“We hope it will especially encourage those thinking of adopting an animal to come and see the animals and facilities first hand”

The photography was carried out by Sussex company Striking Faces, who are Google Trusted Photographers.
