West Midlands Police have asked for public help in locating a convicted burglar who is wanted on recall to prison.

Luke Stuart, 29, has links with Northfield and had his licence revoked in January after he breached his conditions of release.

Stuart failed to return and attempts by local police to trace him have so far failed.

PC Claire Payne, offender manager for Birmingham South, said: “Stuart is a prolific offender in the south Birmingham area and we urge people to help us trace him.

“We have tried various avenues to locate him but so far he has evaded arrest – most likely as he is aware that an arrest would lead to him being returned to prison for breaching the terms of his previous release.”

Anyone who has seen Stuart is urged to call the Birmingham South Offender Management Unit by dialling 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
