A Shirley based charity are calling on all budding Steve Redgraves and Matthew Pinsents to help raise money to beat brain tumours.
`Row for it` is a new fundraising initiative launched by The Brain Tumour Charity. Participants can pick the distance they’d like to row – Bronze 5km, Silver 10km, Gold 15km or the half marathon distance in the Platinum 21km choice.
The fundraising event is being held in May and between now and then participants can train on rowing machines from supporting organisations. The charity has already received support from Cocks Moor Woods Leisure Centre, Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and Fitness First Solihull and are looking for more organisations to sign up to the national fundraising initiative.
