From West Midlands Police:
FIVE MEN are due in court next week, accused of conspiring to supply illegal drugs in Birmingham.
The group were arrested in February when a series of ten warrants were executed under the Misuse of Drugs Act by officers from Force CID and Birmingham South Police in the Kings Norton area of the city.
Police visited addresses on Green Acres, Halladale, Pershore Road South, Fairfax Road, Redbrook Covert, Redditch Road, Berberry Close, Ludstone Road and Ithon Grove where cannabis and cocaine was recovered.
Last week the five men answered bail and were subsequently charged with conspiring to supply Class A and Class B drugs.
Those charged are:
Eugene May-Dyer, aged 24 and unemployed, of Halladale, Kings Norton.
Russell Turner, aged 18 and a labourer, of Green Acres, Kings Norton.
Ian Cunningham, aged 24 and a refuse worker, of NFA.
Grant Barnhurst, aged 21 and unemployed, of Pershore Road, Kings Norton.
Kyle Elcock, aged 18 and unemployed, of Stoney Lane, Balsall Heath.
All five defendants will appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court on 11 December.
