The Bromsgrove Standard reports that three members of the same family appeared before Redditch Magistrates Court on Tuesday, facing charges relating to burglary and possession of dangerous weapons in a public place.

Jane Dandy, 42, Spencer Jason Dandy, 45, and Zak Kyle Dandy, 19, all of Bristol Road South, Rednal, face various charges between them, including affray, aggravated burglary, using threatening unlawful violence towards another person, and possessing an offensive weapon (a wooden baton, an axe and a baseball bat) in a public place.

All the charges relate to an incident in Rubery in June of this year. Officers were called to New Road at around 9pm on Tuesday 18th June, where it was reported that men, armed with weapons including an axe and a baseball bat, had entered a flat which was occupied by residents at the time.

All three pleaded not guilty to all of the charges and were bailed until February 24, when they will go before Worcester Crown Court for a joint trial
