Donna’s nan died of cancer in 2008

A brave 31 year old mum of four from Weoley Castle is all set to go bald for charity this Friday!

Donna Cutler is having all of her beautiful long brown hair shaved off in aid of Cancer Research UK, as well as donating the hair to the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for child sufferers.

After losing her nan to cancer back in 2008 and recently finding out that her cousin has terminal cancer, Donna is determined to help to make a difference.

“I decided to do something wild on an impulse figuring I’d raise a lot of money.  As I can’t run for a bus without getting stitch and leg cramp, a marathon is out of the question. Bike rides too!”

So she decided the hair had to go!  “I’m very nervous about it but its such a great cause!”

Donna is married to Jimmy and has 4 children:  Rhys 13, Serena 11, Amy 9 and Alfie 3. She is currently working on setting up her own business.

If you wish to sponsor Donna and wish her luck, you can visit her Just Giving page.

We’re hoping she’s brave enough to send us a new photo on Friday….?! :) Good luck, Donna!

UPDATE Friday 6th September: She did it! Well done, Donna! If you can spare a couple of quid, please visit Donna’s Just Giving sponsorship page!
