West Midlands Police say that they are increasingly concerned for 11 year old Dudley school boy Dashiel Allen who has been missing since yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
He failed to return home from Coseley High School and his parents alerted police.
Dashiel is known to have links in the Kings Norton area and he was last seen heading towards Jubilee Park in Dudley. He is described as black, around 4ft 8ins tall, of slim build with short plaited dark hair and was wearing a Coseley High School uniform including blazer.
Inspector Tim Draper from Dudley police, said: “We know that Dashiel attended school yesterday and that he has links to the Kings Norton area.
“We have been searching the area including a local park near to the school and local train stations.
“We are really eager to trace Dashiel and would appeal to anyone who may have seen him or know of his whereabouts to call us straight away.
“Dashiel’s loved ones are obviously very worried and I would like to stress that Dashiel is not in any trouble and would appeal to him to call us or come into a local police station where we can ensure he is safe and well.”
Anyone with information that could help trace Dashiel should call Dudley police by dialling 101.
