Local animal rescues struggle with demand – can you help?
As we’ve mentioned before on our facebook page (and you may have noticed a large volume of lost and found posts!), many local rescues are full to bursting and more and more stray and lost dogs and cats are needing their help every day.
The fabulous Fur and Feathers Animal Sanctuary and Animal House Rescue do amazing work, against all odds and at all hours! We at B31 Voices have liaised with them on numerous occasions to help get help for lost and found animals and they go above and beyond for every single animal!
If you are considering adopting a dog or a cat, or think you could help with fostering, do get in touch with one of these fantastic organisations! They are looking for permanent homes for pets that have been rescued, vaccinated, wormed, flead and neutered (if old enough), to make room for the influx of new strays they need to deal with.
If you can’t help with rehoming or fostering, please consider a donation – or maybe you could offer help with fundraising?
B31 Voices would like to thank these rescues, and all the others who work tirelessly (and mostly voluntarily!) for the welfare of local animals! You are all awesome!

And you may remember these babies!
Reader Claire Jones found Crunchie and her newborn kittens in her Kings Norton shed and posted a photo on our Facebook page
Lisa Hunt from Fur and Feathers collected them and they are now in foster care with Shele Boyd and doing really well.
They’re not ready for adoption just yet!
