Monday 24th – 28th of June sees the start of a ‘Cockhill Estate Make Over Week’ (I know Makeover is one word, but I don’t work for the Council!)

Like all things, places, even people, from time to time need a bit of tender loving care to help us look our best.  Well Cockhill is no different and as is in need of a bit of human love, YOUR love in fact.  So people, if you fancy helping out your community by donating your time, carry on reading and volunteer!

Local Service Housing Directorate Activity

  • Neighbourhood Caretakers, Trainee Apprentices, Frankley Street Champions and other volunteers will be on site throughout the week.

  • Housing Surgery taking place at the Deelands Hall on Tuesday 24th June, 9:30 – 4:00.

  • Birmingham Parks Ranger on site – Wednesday 26th June, helping to to manage the Heathland habitat on top of the Quarry.

Join The Team

All tools, instruction and gloves will be provided.  Anyone wish to join in the ‘Cockhill Makeover’ should wear strong boots and weather appropriate outdoor clothing.

You don’t have to be an expert, you don’t have to own the tools, you don’t even have to have a moustache!

Willing? Able and Keen? Then come and give Cockhill a clean!
